The Nigeria and England internationals have both expressed their delight at their performances and the result following Leicester City’s incredible 5-0 win over Newcastle on Sunday.
A Ricardo Pereira goal, a Jamie Vardie brace and a fine Wilfred Ndidi swiveled strike sandwiched an unfortunate Dummett own goal to help the Foxes record their biggest win in the English Premier League.
Ndidi produced a top level performance – with fans singing his praises – and deservedly claimed the BBC Leicester’s Man-of-the-Match award ahead of teammate Vardy.
And the Super Eagles midfield enforcer took to his Twitter page to tweet his delight about a fantastic job done by the Foxes.
“Buzzing into the new week with +3points and a great performance from the team,” Ndidi wrote.

In similar vein, Leicester striker Jamie Vardy told Sky Sports:
“We knew it would be a difficult game but we thought the first goal was important. We got that and want to kept the momentum going and came away with a very good victory today.
“I am delighted for Ricardo Pereira, slotted it in with a weaker foot. He is consistently good and will only get better. You can see what we have been upto on the training field and are implementing the manager’s plans.
“We have got lots of different ways to score, we used to be counter-attacking but we have different dimensions in attack.
“You can see the way we are playing, we keep possession but play it fast and has an end product.
“It is all the same off the field, a really close-knit group and get back on the training field for Liverpool next weekend.”
The win takes Leicester to third on the EPL table only two points behind champions Manchester City and boasting the joint-best defensive record in the top division.
