Frank Lampard makes European managerial debut as Chelsea unleash excellent Tammy Abraham on poor Valencia

The Blues have to cut short the euphoria of thrashing Wolves on Saturday and focus on the small matter of the UEFA Champions League as Spanish side Valencia arrive in London.

Frank Lampard will on Tuesday make his managerial debut in Europe hoping to extract from his team the kind of performance that blew Wolverhampton Wanderers off the park at the weekend.

Having featured for the Blues in over 100 matches in Europe’s biggest club competition, lifting the trophy in 2012, Lampard return to the continent as a manager, aiming for similar success.

After a big 5-2 win at the Molinuex last time out, all eyes will be on the former England man’s young side with questions already being asked about their readiness for Champions League football.

Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori have scored all of Chelsea’s 11 goals in the league but Europe is the next level and it is to be seen how the youngsters will adapt to European games.

Valencia however arrive in West London in poor form having been on the  wrong end of a 5-2 thumping at the Camp Nou.

The visitors currently lie in 14th place in the La Liga table after a poor start, with their defensive issues looking perfect for this Chelsea team.

Tammy Abraham has set himself up as the star man of this youthful Chelsea team. The Anglo-Nigerian has scored an incredible 7 goals having just spent 331 minutes on the field of play.

Valencia will underrate the 21-year-old at their own puerile.

Chelsea have been fantastic going forward but not so great at the back. Hence, backing the Blues to kick off their campaign in this group with over 2.5 goals in the game is the way to profit.
