Eden Hazard on the hot seat, reveals thoughts on Aliens, Japanese food and Zidane volley

Ahead of the season’s first Madrid derby, former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been caught on video providing short, sharp answers to lighthearted questions many of which will surprise a few of his fans.

Speaking in a video on the Real Madrid website, Eden Hazard spoke about his preference for Japanese food, Brad Pitt and eternal living, while revealing his favourite fruit and his most beloved goal of all time.

The promotion video with Mahou showed Hazard’s humorous side and here are a few highlight answers.

One word to define a derby?

“Crazy.”

Which artist would you resurrect?

“Johnny Hallyday, but you don’t know him, he’s a famous singer.”

If a movie was made about you, who would you want to play you?

Brad Pitt, I don’t know.”

If you could get into a time machine, where would you go?

“The future.”

What’s your favourite goal in all of football history?

“Zidane volley, against Leverkusen.”

Derby preparations

“I just prepare for it in a normal way. I haven’t got a special routine, I just try and focus before the game and do my best out on the pitch”.

Real Madrid

“Everything’s different here. My unveiling was crazy, with so many people in the stadium. Real Madrid are incredible. I want us to win a lot of trophies this season”.

Best goal of all time

“Zidane’s volley against Bayer Leverkusen”.

Special opponent

“Diego Costa is the opposing player I want to come up against because he’s my friend and we played together”.

Do you think Aliens exist?

“No.”

Would you like to live forever?

“Why not?”

Which animal would you like to reincarnate as?

“A lion.”

What is your favourite fruit?

“Mango.”

“Japanese.”

Hazard is in line to feature this weekend in his first derby as a Los Blancos player when Diego Someone side battle it out with table-topping Real Madrid.
