Chukwueze Aims To Compound Barcelona’s Woes

Super Eagles midfielder, Samuel Chukwueze will be hoping to compound Barcelona’s woes as the team come at loggerheads in Tuesday’s La Liga fixture.

Chukwueze, who took the whole Barca defence to the cleaners, scoring a goal and providing an assist the last time the two teams met last season in an encounter that ended 4-4, will be eager to repeat the same feat again at Camp Nou.

The Nigerian international has had a good start this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in four league games.

Villarreal should be optimistic heading into this one, while Barcelona will be aware they cannot afford to drop any further points at such an early stage of the season.

There have been plenty of goals in the recent meetings between the two teams, making a low-scoring affair on Tuesday night even more unlikely. Neither side have struggled to find the back of the net this season, but fancy Barca to have enough firepower to pick up a much-needed three points.”

Possible Line Up

Barcelona: Ter Stegen, Firpo, Lenglet, Pique, Semedo, Arthur, Rakitic, De Jong, Griezmann, Suarez, Messi.

Villarreal: Asenjo; Quintilla, Torres, Albiol, Pena; Iborra, Cazorla, Gomez; Chukwueze, Moreno, Ekambi
