A brilliant month in which he banged in six goals in only three Bundesliga showings and another strike in the DFB Pokal has seen Robert Lewandowski picked as the club’s Best Player in the month of August.
Polish striker Lewandowski has been rewarded for a prolific month by being named Bayern Munich’s Player of the Month.

Lewandowski, who joined Bayern Munich from Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer, scored twice in Bayern’s first game of the season – a thrilling 2-2 draw at home to Hertha Berlin.
The Pole then grabbed a fine hat trick in the 3-0 demolition of Schalke 04 before getting in one more goal in the 6-1 annihilation of Mainz.
Lewandowski’s solitary strike in the DFB Pokal came against Energie Cottbus when Bayern ran away with a 3-1 victory.
