Last weekend’s Premier League fixtures provided fans with lots of goals and shock result as Norwich defeated reigning champions, Manchester City 3-2 while Tottenham and Chelsea spanked their respective opponents.
Not forgetting, Arsenal throwing out a two-goal lead to draw Watford 2-2 and Manchester United managed a 1-0 win over Leicester City.

Goalkeeper
Tim Krul (Norwich City)
Krul was the hero as Norwich stunned EPL champions, Manchester City 3-2 as his incredible saves kept the team alive for mouth-watering three points.
Six saves kept Manchester City at bay but that doesn’t tell the whole story, with the Norwich stopper’s dominance in the air and calming presence playing a huge role in the unlikeliest of victories.
Defenders
Serge Aurier (Tottenham Hotspur)
He was solid at the back and also made two important assists that helped Tottenham scored from it.
Standing in for Kyle Walker-Peters, the Ivorian supplied two assists in a frenetic first half against Crystal Palace and contributed to a comfortable clean sheet.
Fikayo Tomori (Chelsea)
Tomori is a favourite of Frank Lampard’s and earned his second consecutive start of the season in a back three against Wolves.
The youngster was solid defensively throughout, having popped up to provide a moment of magic with a wonderful strike for the opener.
Harry Maguire (Manchester United)
Up against his former club for the first time, Maguire looked every inch an £80million defender.
Seemed to relish the one-on-one battles with Jamie Vardy and James Maddison, rarely allowing the attacking duo a touch.
Andrew Robertson (Liverpool)
Solid from the left flank as he provided the strings that gave the trio of Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Firminho several goal-scoring opportunities.
A menace whenever he attacks with the ball and continued to provide width all afternoon as Jurgen Klopp’s men maintained their winning start.
Midfielders
Scott McTominay (Manchester United)
McTominay really rose to the occasion in the absence of Paul Pogba, dominating midfield and putting experienced team-mate Nemanja Matic to shame with his industry.
Something of an unsung hero in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, but Manchester United fans will certainly know when the Scot is not on the pitch.
Emiliano Buendia (Norwich City)
One of his best games in the colours of Norwich this season, Buendia was the brain behind the Canaries attack and provided two assists that were converted to goals.
Man City defenders had no answer to Buendia bursting run and intelligent passes each time he’s with the ball.
Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur)
Son has had a disputed start to the campaign as he served a suspension carried over from the end of last season but the South Korean is definitely up and running now.
The forward backed up an assist in the north London derby with a first-half double against Palace to put Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the driving seat.
Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)
Klopp initially planned on resting Firmino following the international break but injury to Divock Origi after just half an hour scuppered that plan.
Firmino certainly made his presence felt with two assists – including a sumptuous back-heel flick – in a superb display and the Brazilian could have provided another if it wasn’t for the offside flag.
Strikers
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal)
Arsenal will be hammered for letting a two-goal lead against Watford slip, with the Gunners having been cruising towards victory thanks to a classy double from Aubameyang.
The Gabon international showed his skill with an excellent turn and finish for the first then tapped in a second and was even one of Arsenal’s better players as the Hornets came storming back into the match.
Tammy Abraham (Chelsea)
Another three goals to his tally moves Abraham onto seven for the season already, with this hat-trick showcasing his diverse talents as Chelsea battered Wolves.
A tidy finish, thumping header and brilliant shimmy and strike saw him take home the match ball, while an unfortunate own-goal won’t have taken the gloss off an eye-catching display.
