The former Manchester United forward has agreed a deal that will see him return to English football from MLS side D.C. United in January, with the Manchester United legend agreeing an 18-month deal with Derby.
Wayne Rooney is in line to make a sensational comeback to the English League from America’s Major League Soccer after he has a gentleman’s agreement on an 18-month deal with Derby, Goal.com reports.
The 33-year-old, who is the record goalscorer for the England national team and for Manchester United, have had advanced talks with Derby, confirming his readiness to return to England from MLS.
