Former Spain and Liverpool forward Fernando Torres is all set to play the last match of his professional career today, August 23 in a Japanese first division clash between Sagan Tasu and Vissel Kobe, a club parading his former Spain teammates Andres Iniesta and David Villa.
After a career that saw him skipper Atletico Madrid and nearly drag Liverpool to that elusive Premier League title, Fernando Torres will today hang his football boots as a professional player at the age of 35.
