Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen has joined Ligue 1 top club, Lille in a deal reportedly worth N5.8bn (€20m).
The former Golden Eaglets star, who won a bronze medal with the Super Eagles at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations where he played one match, signed a five-year deal that will see him stay till 2024.
The French club, Lille, reached an agreement with Belgian side, Charleroi for the 20-year-old forward.
Osimhen had his medicals on Wednesday and it is believed that the deal has been finalized.
He becomes the third Nigerian player that will be donning the Lille jersey following in the footsteps of former Super Eagles stars, Osaze Odemwingie and Vincent Enyeama.
Interestingly, Osimhen joined Charleroi initially on loan from German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in August 2018, scoring 20 goals in 36 appearances for the modest club.
