The Super Eagles midfielder was both the villain and the hero for his club as Leicester City denied Frank Lampard his first league win as Chelsea manager.
Wilfried Ndidi’s mistake led to Chelsea’s opener but the Leicester City’s midfielder picked himself up and scored the away side’s equalizer as Chelsea continue their search for a first win of the season.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Leicester goalscorer Wilfred Ndidi revealed how he was able to lift his head after the early disappointment.
“I think we put the first half aside and pushed up. We had to react,” Ndidi said.
“It (the mistake) is something I am trying not to think about. It keeps coming up in my head but it’s football so I have to move on.”
On how he got himself in a scoring position for the equalizer, Ndidi revealed,
“I don’t know. It is a mixed feeling. I tried it [set-piece for the goal] a couple of times with James Maddison in training and he said I could score from those chances.
“We can take the positives. We had a couple of chances. We will try to improve in every game. We did well in the second half.”
Leicester City are still without a win after drawing their fist game of the season last week.
