Simon, Ogu Confident Of Nigeria’s Victory Against South Africa

Super Eagles winger, Simon Moses has revealed that the team wouldn’t underestimate the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in today’s quarter-final of the Africa Cup of Nations at the Cairo International Stadium.

Moses was part of the Nigerian side that defeated the Indomitable Lions of Cameron in the round of 16 on Saturday.

However, in a chat with Brila fm that was monitored by Soccernet.ng, Simon noted that the players are really determined to put the South Africans to the sword today.

“I am really looking forward to today’s encounter against South Africa. Getting the right result remains the main objective of every player and I am positive Nigeria will win.

In the same vein, Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has reiterated the team’s commitment to winning today’s quarter-final clash against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Ogu, who played in Nigeria’s 2-0 lose against Madagascar in their last group B tie, stated that the main priority of the players is to beat South Africa today.

“We’re in high spirit ahead of today’s game and I believe we have what it takes to overcome South Africa at the Cairo International Stadium. “Victory is what matters most for us and I Iknow we shall be victorious.
