Sad News For Former Super Eagles Star And Manager

According to reports reaching us now,  the mother of former Super Eagles star and manager Samson Siasia has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen at her residence in Yenogoa Bayelsa state.

According to the Vanguard, She was abducted around 2 am at her Odoni country hone in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

It will be the second time the 1994 AFCON winner’s mum will be kidnapped after he was abducted in 2015.  She was released 12 days later.

The rate of Kidnapping has been on a rapid rise in the country with footballers relative the primary target.  Just a few months ago, the mother of Super Eagles star Samuel Kalu was kidnapped before she was released a few days later.

Also, the father of John Mikel Obi was kidnapped for the second time while his son was representing Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup. He was also released a few days later, although it was not known if a ransom was paid for his release.
