Reports: Barcelona Target Neymar Takes A Decision On His PSG Future

According to reports, Brazil superstar Neymar Jnr has informed his club Paris Saint Germain he wants to leave this summer amid rumours of a return to Barcelona.

Two years after joining the French champions from the La Liga giants in what was a world-record move,  the Brazilian international has been linked with a sensational return to the camp nou this summer and has done little to quash those rumours.

The 27-year-old failed to return for pre-season training last week with PSG saying they will take disciplinary actions against him. PSG director, Leonardo also raised the chance of Neymar leaving when he said the club are willing to let him go but only if they receive the right offer.

Neymar is eager for a Barcelona return and even ignited speculations when he said the Blaugrana’s 6-1 champions league comeback was one of the best moments of his career.

Although PSG are still trying to convince the former Santos man to stay, Neymar has already made up his mind and has informed the club’s board he wants to leave according to Skysports.

Barcelona are still yet to make an official bid but another Brazilian in the person of Philippe Coutinho could be used as a makeweight in the deal. Coutinho who joined the La Liga champions from Liverpool in January 2018 is deemed to be surplus to requirements after failing to justify his huge transfer fee.

With PSG said to be among clubs interested in the 26-year-old, Barcelona believe they could offer him plus cash in a bid to bring Neymar back to the camp nou.
