Nigeria’s Football Number One Man Sacked

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Mr. Amaju Pinnick, has been impeached as 1st Vice-President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

His removal took place on Thursday at CAF Executive Committee meeting, after a well-attended congress in Cairo Egypt.

Africa News24 (AN24) understands CAF executive committee on Wednesday agreed to allow FIFA Secretary General take charge of the administration of CAF for a period of 6 months.

This online platform recalls Amaju Pinnick was named Vice President of the CAF July last year where he replaced Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former President of the Ghana Football Association, who resigned a month earlier in the wake of corruption allegations sparked by an undercover investigation in his homeland.
