Mali vs Mauritiana: AFCON 2019 Preview, Kickoff time and Where to watch

Mali’s quest of winning its first continental trophy will come under scrutiny as the team face a less ‘fancy’ Mauritania in Monday’s Africa Cup of Nations Group E clash at the Suez Stadium.

The Eagles of Mali are pundits’ favourites to pick the three points against a Mauritania side known for its cagy style of play and expansive counter-attacking threat.

Yet to win the bi-annual competition, Mali will be hoping to crush their opponent in order to step up their chase for the title.

On the other hand, Mauritania may not really be among some of the flamboyant Africa teams, however, they have some array of star players capable of causing havoc whenever they are on the attack.

They will be banking on players such as Moulaye Ahmed Khalil “Bessam”, who play in the Tunisian league for AS Gabes, Ismail Diakhite and Adama Ba of Giresunspor Kulubu in Turkey.
