Nigerian defender Leon Balogun who suffered a shoulder injury three weeks ago has resumed training and might just be fit enough to play in the Super Eagles’ upcoming games against Seychelles and Egypt this month.
Confirming the development, the Brighton man posted a picture of himself in training with the caption, “Still alive smiling as usual.”
Balogun last featured for his team on February 6 when they beat West Bromwich Albion 3-1 in the FA Cup. He’ll be hoping to recover quickly in order to return to his place in the team.
