Rohr: Moses can still play for Super Eagles if…

Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr has revealed that he would be delighted to have Victor Moses back to the team if he rescind his decision of coming out of retirement.

Moses retired from the senior national team after representing Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, where the team crashed out in the group stages of the competition.

However, Rohr, who has always admired the qualities of the Chelsea winger, told AFP that Moses must first earn a regular shirt with the Blues so as to be at his best.

“We have to respect his decision. If he changes his mind we will welcome him back,” said Rohr.

“But he has to find that motivation within himself to come back and be ready to give his 100 percent at all times, as we know he can.

“Then of course, it is important that he gets back to playing regularly at his club and get his sharpness back.”
