Nigerian forward, Taiwo Awoniyi has been loaned out to Belgium First Division side Royal Excel Mouscron by Liverpool.
The Reds confirmed the deal with a statement published on their website. Awoniyi will be spending the rest of the Season at Mouscron after “his spell with KAA Gent was ended early.”
The statement said, “Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi has joined Royal Excel Mouscron on loan for the rest of the season, subject to international clearance, after his spell with KAA Gent was ended early.”
Awoniyi who is yet to feature for Liverpool in the Premier League or any other competition, will continue his development at Mouscron where he’ll be hoping to get a good amount of playing time.
