Villareal has turned down an offer from fellow spanish club, Atletico Madrid for Samuel Chukwueze.
According to Owngoalnigeria, Villareal’s newly appointed coach rejected a bid of about €40 million from Atletico, as he plans to hold on to the talented player.
There are also other reports claiming Chukwueze has received an offer from Villareal for a contract extension.
These reports also suggest that Atletico isn’t the only club interested in the 19-year-old, saying English clubs including Arsenal and Leicester City have made contact with the player already.
