Iheanacho, Ndidi, Musa pay tribute to Leicester City owner

The trio of Super Eagles stars, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa have extended their condolence message to Leicester City owner and CEO of King Power Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who died in a helicopter crash.

Vichai was one of the five people killed when the accident occurred just an hour after the club’s draw at home to West Ham United. The helicopter owned by the Thai billionaire crashed near a car park just around the king power stadium shortly after taking off from the pitch around 8:20pm.

After netting a goal in the team 1-1 draw against West Ham on Saturday in the Premier League, Ndidi, took to his twitter handle, to appreciate the efforts and contributions of the Leicester City owner in taking the club forward.

“You were far too kind and supportive. Thank you for all you did for the club, for always encouraging the team and coming all the way to watch me play at the world cup. Rest on sir #theboss.”

Also reacting to the sudden death of the Leicester City owner was Kelechi Iheanacho who twitted; “May the good Lord accept your soul rest on boss.”

Former Leicester City player, Ahmed Musa revealed in his twitter handle that Srivaddhanaprabha was a special man that won’t be forgotten in a hurry in the history of the club.

“Someone special, will Not be forgotten, wonderful memories will live on forever, Death can never take a good man away, in the hearts of people he inspired, the legacy remains and continuous throughout generations. He was a great man and father to many, may his soul RIP.
