We’ve stepped up preparation for Seychelles clash – Semi Ajayi

By Augustine Akhilomen

Newly invited Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi has disclosed that the players are responding positively to the team’s manager, Gernot Rohr’s training methods ahead of Sunday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in Victoria.

The Rotherham United and former Arsenal U-23 defender has been part of the 20 players in camp for the must-win encounter against the Pirates having lost their opening fixture 2-0 to South Africa on June 2017.

Semi told www.themillers.co.uk that he’s doing his best to impress Rohr and hopeful play a big part against Seychelles on Sunday.

”I think we’ll step up preparations in training on Thursday and then it will be match preparation on Friday, so hopefully, I can impress and be involved in the game.”
