No hiding Place For Seychelles On Sunday – Pascal

By Augustine Akhilomen

Super Eagles team coordinator, Patrick Pascal has reiterated that the team is poised to wreck and pick the maximum point against Seychelles in Sunday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Victoria.

The three-time Africa champions are in a tight position where they must have to defeat Seychelles in order to revive their qualification quest for the bi-annual tournament in Cameroon.

However, Pascal told Soccernet.ng that the players know the importance of the game and are ready to defeat the Pirates of Seychelles on Sunday.

“The players are more concerned in picking the maximum point against Seychelles because they have no better option than to win,” Pascal told Soccernet com.ng

“We have missed two editions of the Africa Cup of Nations and if would not be too good if Nigeria fails to qualify for this edition considering the fact that we just returned from the World Cup and Nigerians are expecting us to make it through this time around.

“To be frank, I don’t think there will be any hiding place for Seychelles on Sunday because the players are hungry to deliver the three points.”
