No plans to leave Barca for PSG – Rakitic

Ivan Rakitic will remain a Barcelona player after speaking with his family.

The midfielder had been linked with a move away from the La Liga club with PSG believed to be interested.

PSG are in the market for a midfielder, reportedly targeting the 30-year-old and Tottenham star Christian Eriksen.

Rakitic has started Barcelona’s two league games this season, including yesterday’s 1-0 win over Real Valladolid.

And while the Croatian star has admitted he thought about moving on, a chat with his family determined his decision after favourable words from Barca coach Ernesto Valverde.
