Ndidi, Iheanacho target Liverpool downfall

After back-to-back performance which has seen Leicester City earn six points, Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are set to face one their biggest test of the season as they host high-flying Liverpool in Saturday’s Premier League early kickoff at the King Power Stadium.

Ndidi who has become a general in the defensive midfield of the Foxes since joining the team from Genk was a delight to watch against Southampton last weekend.

Still searching for his first goal of the new season, the Nigerian international would be hoping to dictate the pace of the midfield once again against an experienced Liverpool side that has maintained a 100% winning record in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho will be hoping to maintain his goalscoring form after netting a goal in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup 4-0 win over  Fleetwood.

Iheanacho, who is also searching for his first league goal in the Premier League will be aiming to fire the Foxes to victory against Liverpool on Saturday.
