Moses can return to Super Eagles if he wants – Rohr

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has said there’s always a space waiting for Chelsea winger, Victor Moses whenever he chooses to return.

Moses surprised everyone with his retirement from the National team at just 27 years of age, stating his desire to focus on his club career, his young family, and encourage the progression of the next generation of Super Eagles players as the reason for his decision.

Speaking for the first time on the matter, Rohr said he hopes Moses changes his mind and when he does, he’ll be welcomed back to team with opened arms.

We spoke already and I hope that his decision is not definitive

I think it depends on his motivation. If he really wants to commit himself again, he is welcome.

Maybe the chance to win the AFCON is motivation. We will see.Gernot Rohr | ESPN

Moses was an integral part of Nigeria’s team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and will be missed if he doesn’t change his mind and return to the team.
