Moses, Omeruo join Chelsea for pre-season preparations

Super Eagles duo of Victor Moses and Kenneth Omeruo has rejoined Chelsea for pre-season with Antonio Rudiger ahead of the forthcoming Premier League season.

All three of them were involved in the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Nigeria got a bit unlucky too in finishing third after Croatia and Argentina, while Germany was one of the biggest disappointments as they finish dead last in a group containing Mexico, Sweden, and South Korea.

Rudiger and Moses will have a fight on their hands to convince Maurizio Sarri of their qualities while Omeruo will go out on loan (again) or will finally secure a permanent move somewhere.

As with the rest of the players, the first couple days will see them complete some physical exercises and tests. Real training then begins early next week, after the rest of the team return from Australia.

Chelsea starts their pre-season tour against Perth Glory before taking in Inter Milan, Arsenal, Manchester City in Community Shield clash in Wembley Stadium and Lyon Stamford Bridge, London.
