Super Eagles captain and midfielder, John Obi Mikel has revealed that the team is battle ready for action at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Nigeria is expected to face Croatia in the opening fixture of Group D at the World Cup on June 16, a game that could determine the fate of both teams before entertaining Iceland and Argentina.
The former Chelsea midfielder wrote on his twitter handle that the team is set to make Nigeria proud in Russia.
“Running to Russia like…. Ready for action at #WorldCup 2018 #SoarSuperEagles,” Mikel tweeted.
