Super Falcons beat Gambia 6-0

The Super Falcons are through to the Africa Women Cup of Nations scheduled to hold in Ghana from 17 November 2018 after defeating Scorpions of Gambia 6-0 at the Agege Stadium on Monday.
A brace from reigning CAF female footballer of the year, Asisat Oshoala and four goals from Desire Oparanozie was enough to send the nine-time African champions to Ghana.
Having won the first leg 1-0 in Banjul, the Gambians were hoping for mother-luck to smile at them against a star-studded Falcons side that are the reigning champions but that wasn’t possible after 90 minutes.
The victory means Falcons manager, Thomas Dennerby has only lost just one match (7-1 drubbing against France in an international friendly) early this year.
