Rohr tips Super Eagles to win 2022 World Cup

Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr says he’s optimistic Nigeria can win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar based on the current age of the team.

Rohr stated this on Friday during a press conference ahead of Nigeria’s international friendly clash against the Three Lions of England at W8embley on Saturday.

The German tactician, who is expected to parade his likely line up for the World Cup on Saturday, said that he’s impressed with the young age of the players in camp and see Nigeria Competing for the trophy in Qatar.

“England have a lot of youthfulness,” said the German. “We are the youngest – I saw a Fifa table – and they are the third or fourth-youngest. I heard the coach of England say he wants to win the World Cup in 2022 – so we can say the same. This is a World Cup match for us.”
