I’m ready to grab my chance in Russia – Ezenwa

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has revealed that he’s hoping to grab his chance of when called upon by the technical crew at the 2018 World Cup.

Ezenwa has lost his number one position to Francis Uzoho in the Super Eagles since making his debut against Argentina in an international friendly at the Krasnodar Stadium last year.

He said that former Super Eagles goalie, Vincent Enyeama remains his mentor and he hopes to grab his opportunity whenever it comes.

“Everybody prays for an opportunity to come to him and grab it with bold hands.

“Vincent Enyeama was my mentor when he was with the Super Eagles and I was grateful I was able to do my best when I was called upon by the Super Eagles technical adviser.

“I just hope and pray that when I am called upon to the team at the World Cup in Russia, I will grab it with bold hands.
