Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi says he’s prepared to spill is last blood against Iceland in today’s (Friday) crucial World Cup clash.
The Leicester City hard tackling midfielder played all 90 minutes as the team lost 2-0 against Croatia in their opening fixture last week Saturday.
However, hope has been revived after Croatia surprisingly defeated Argentina 3-0 on Thursday to all but dent the Albiceleste chances of qualifying to the knockout stages of the World Cup in Russia.
‘”Even though we are players, we are also Nigerians,” he said on the Nigerian twitter feed.
“We have put the loss behind us, we will give everything we have in the next game, we will die there in the next game.”
Nigeria will face Argentina in the final game in their group hoping to still have a chance of reaching the last 16.
