Super Eagles goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme has revealed that he’s feeling unhappy to be missing the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Ikeme was Nigeria’s undisputed goalie after the former goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama retired from the Super Eagle in 2015.
The Wolves star, who was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2017 by club medical doctors, disclosed via his official twitter handle that he feel sad not to be part of the team to the World Cup slated to begin on June 14.
“To say I’m devastated about missing the World Cup is an understatement. But I just want to thank everyone in 🇳🇬 for there prayers, love and messages. I can’t explain how much they mean to me❤️ I also want to wish my teammates, coaches and NFF luck for the summer coming 🇳🇬❤️”
