AWCON Qualifier: Scorpions aim for Super Falcons scalp

The Scorpions of Gambia will be targeting a shock win as they host Nigeria’s Super Super Falcons in today’s (Wednesday) second round first leg in the Africa Women’s Nations Cup qualifier in Banjul.

Both teams will be facing each other for the first time for a place in Ghana as they hope to move to the next round.

Having lost 7-1 against France in an international friendly match, the Super Falcons will be hoping to redeem their image and bounce back to winning ways today.

Blessed with an array of stars, the Super Falcons know a big win would all but make the second leg a formality in Nigeria.
