Super Eagles can achieve final berth in Russia – Iwobi

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi has reiterated that the team has what it takes to zoom into the final of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The three-time African Champions have been pitted alongside Argentina, Iceland and Croatia, a team they will be playing in their opening fixture.

With just 35 days to the commencement of the World Cup, the Arsenal star who scored the winning goal against Zambia that qualified Nigeria for the Mundial told CNN on Wednesday that the Super Eagles can achieve the unthinkable at the tournament.

“The way we qualified in the group made us very confident,” Iwobi tells CNN Sport.

“We’ve played against some big teams, some big countries, so we are very confident that we can go far.”
