Wenger keeps close tab on Ndidi

By Augustine Akhilomen

Reports emanating from London revealed that Arsenal have placed a strong searchlight on the possibility of signing Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi during the summer transfer window.

The Nigeria international has enjoyed a great form with Leicester City since joining the Foxes last two seasons from Genk.

His combative and no-nonsense attitude in the midfield has caught the eyes of Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, who is currently shopping to fill in that position.

Ndidi has featured 36 times for Leicester this season in all competitions including Saturday’s 2-0 win at Brighton – a game which saw him sent off late on.

“There has been so much interest in him. He is going to be a top player and Arsenal have been in contact,” a source told The Sun.
