Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong believes the duo of Tyronne Ebuehi and Francis Uzoho have what it takes to make the final 23-squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Ebuehi and Uzoho had a decent performance in the two friendly games against Poland and Serbia to the delight of Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr.
However, Troost-Ekong, having become a regular starter in the team since making his debut against Chad in an AFCON qualifier, stated that Ebuehi and Uzoho are two reliable players capable of making the Super Eagles World Cup list.
“He will come through at the World Cup,” said Troost-Ekong.
“Like me, he is half Dutch as his mother is Dutch.
“He is one player to watch out for.
“He has got potentials and I believe he will gain experience to be ready for the World Cup,” he
said.
