Ex-international, Finidi George has disclosed that the Super Eagles should do more better by at least going beyond the round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup.
Nigeria has been pitted alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D of the World Cup but Finidi stated that the Super Eagles must take more step forward in Russia.
“We have done well with the qualifiers in Africa. However, the Eagles need to take us to another level.
“Will this happen? I honestly don’t know. Everything depends on the players and not the
coach,” said Finidi who was regarded as the best crosser of the ball during his days with
Ajax Amsterdam of Holland.
