Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi has revealed that Arsenal have centred their attention on winning the Europa League in a bid to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Gunners who are already out of the top four picture in the Premier League will face CSKA Moscow on Thursday in the quarter-final second leg of the Europa League with a view to protect their 4-1 advantage in the first leg at the Emirates last week.
However, Iwobi stated that qualify for the Champions League via the top four would be difficult but that the Europa League success provide them with the only chance.
“It is the dream of every player to play in the Uefa Champions League but at the moment Arsenal appears to be out of the picture in England
” Our best way of making it back to Europe is by winning the Europa League this season and that will definitely be a big statement of intent for us.
