Ahmed Musa scores in CSKA Moscow draw

Ahmed Musa was on target as CSKA forced Ufa to a 1-1 draw in the Russian Premier League game played on Sunday at the Stadion Neftyanik.

Sunday’s outing was the fifth in the League for Musa who made a loan switch from Leicester City to CSKA Moscow during the last transfer window.

The fleet-footed Super Eagles forward was on target in the 78th minute after Dimitry Sysuev had given the host the lead four minutes before halftime.

Before opening his account in the League, Musa had scored in some preseason games and also in the Europa League where the Red Armies have been knocked out by Arsenal.

With the away point secured on Sunday, CSKA Moscow are fifth on the log with 44 points from 25 games and they are three points adrift of Zenith who are presently occupying the third place for the last Champions League playoff spot.

Lokomotiv Moscow are the table toppers; nine points ahead of CSKA Moscow.
