In a bid to ensure that the Super Eagles get first-hand information of their World Cup group D opponents, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has mapped out plans to monitor the game involving Argentina vs Italy on Friday March 23, Iceland vs Mexico (March 24) and Peru vs Croatia (March 24).
While the Super Eagles will be testing their might against Poland on the same day as part of preparations for the World Cup, the NFF have also decided to spy on the Lionel Messi-led Argentina team.
Soccernet.com.ng scooped that the NFF would provide the technical crew of the Super Eagles with videos of all Super Eagles group opponents to aid proper assessment of those teams.
It will be recalled that Nigeria will face Croatia in their opening Group D fixture before confronting Iceland and Argentina in the final group game.
