There are high expectations at Barcelona for Oriol Busquets and for Juan Miranda and both players are set to sign new deals with the Catalan club, possibly within the next few weeks.
Negotiations are advanced and the two academy players are expected to sign contracts which will link them to the club for three further years, plus a possible two more. Oriol Busquets has already debuted for the first team, having played against Real Murcia in this season’s Copa del Rey.
A knee injury has stalled the midfielder’s progress, but he is still held in high regard and will sign this new deal, with his current one set to expire this summer.
Miranda, meanwhile, is a promising left-back and still has one year remaining on his current deal, but Barcelona are already keen to offer him a new one.
