Chelsea join PSG, Madrid in race to sign Umtiti

Chelsea have joined the battle for Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti.

Don Balon says Umtiti has been linked with a move away from Barcelona due to his bargain release clause.

The Frenchman would be available for just £53million in the summer – a relatively low fee in the current market.

And Chelsea are among Umtiti’s suitors.

The Blues, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all said to be tracking the 24-year-old.

The three clubs made contact with the France international’s representatives during the January transfer window.
