Barcelona are reviving interest in Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.
El Mundo Deportivo says Barca have ‘reopened the case’ of Eriksen after realising Philippe Coutinho isn’t the right type of midfielder to succeed veteran captain Andres Iniesta.
Instead, Eriksen is back on the agenda of Barca, which have been tracking the Dane since he had trials at La Masia as a 14 year-old. Barca director Robert Fernandez has made regular checks on Eriksen this season.
The midfielder has been outstanding for Spurs in Europe this season and Barca have now made contact with his agents about next season.
