Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Technical and Development Committee, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed has disclosed that the Super Eagles have what it takes to claim the coveted Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) currently ongoing in Morocco.
Having defeated Angola 2-1 in a tensed encounter on Sunday evening, the senior national team will be hoping to surmount Sudan’s hurdle in the semi-final on Wednesday in order to progress to the final.
However, Yusuf stated that he’s impressed with the performance of the Super Eagles players and believed that would make Nigerians proud by winning the trophy.
“Our progress has been remarkable. A team that gets better with each game is likely to emerge champions at the end of a competition. We are looking forward to the Eagles making us proud by winning this trophy for the first time,” Fresh said.
