Shehu Abdullahi signs for Turkish club

Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract with Turkish club Bursaspor worth 700,000 Euros.

Anorthosis24.com is reporting that Shehu arrived Bursaspor yesterday to hold talks with the chairman where the players, his club Anorthosis Famagusta and the Turkish Super League side agreed a two-year contract which the former Kano Pillars star will pen in following days.

Shehu will pocket 400, 000 Euros per year in the deal that also attracted a transfer fee of 300, 000 Euros, reports ScoreNigeria.

Anorthosis also proposed a percentage, alongside some other add-ons, should Shehu be sold to another club.

The Cypriot club would also get a bonus of 150, 000 Euros from FIFA as Shehu is a World Cup player.

Shehu returned to Cyprus today to play his last game against Ethnikos Achnas tomorrow.
He’s expected to arrive Turkey on Monday to officially sign his contract.

Shehu will team up with his Eagles’ teammates – William Troost-Ekong, Mikel Agu.
