Everton FC and Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru, will make a return to Anderlecht after his ongoing rehabilitation and full recovery following a medial ligament injury he suffered last December that has kept him out for over four weeks.
AOIFootball.com scooped that the former KAS Eupen striker was initially set to feature for the Toffees immediately he regains full fitness but that may have changed now as his loan deal will now be for the entire season with the former Aspire Academy product to officially join the Merseyside team next season.
The decision to have Onyekuru go back to finish his season at Anderlecht may not be unconnected to the player seeking to finish the season where he stopped as he also aims to make Nigeria’s World Cup squad.
Onyekuru scored eight times and was Anderlecht’s leading scorer before his injury in December.
