Real Madrid is set to sell two stars to fund a move for Barcelona player in the coming summer, according to report in Spanish news outlet Diario Gol.
Los Blancos president is ready to sign Sergi Roberto from rivals Barcelona and he is willing to let go Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos to actualize the move.
Real Madrid and Barcelona transfers are not easy and it is always controversial, a flashback to 2000 will explain it better when Luis Figo switch from Barcelona to Real Madrid in 2000.
According to Diario Gol, Perez was inspired by that famous transfer and is now plotting to make 25-year-old Roberto the subject of ‘Operation Figo’
Modric and Ceballos have both being used in the central midfield position while Perez’s target can play in three different positions fullback and also on the right flank something which interest Perez about his move to sign the underutilized versatile Spanish from Barcelona.
