For Everton striker, Henry Onyekuru dreams surely come true and he is glad he is living the dream with the Super Eagles where he now plays alongside those he only watched on the screens years back.
One of those that served as an inspiration for Onyekuru while growing up is Captain John Obi Mikel, and the pacy forward was happy to share his picture in training with the former Chelsea ace.
He wrote: “I remember watching this guy play, Winning premier league titles and being a huge inspiration for me and many other kids, Now we are teammates! God is Great! ⚽#ObiMikel#respect 🙌🏾🇳🇬🦅”
Onyekuru came in as a second-half substitute in the game against Algeria while Mikel was rested. On Tuesday against Argentina, it is expected that both players will feature against the two-time world champions.
