Ahmed Musa says he hopes to score again against Argentina in this month’s friendly.
Musa scored twice against the Albiceleste three years ago at the World Cup in Brazil, as the former world champions beat Nigeria 3-2, and the 25-year old is looking forward to doing it again.
Nigeria’s readiness for next year’s World Cup in Russia will be tested to the full by Argentina on November 14 in Krasnodar.
“I have scored against them before and if given the opportunity I will love to do it again,” he was quoted by ScoreNigeria.
Argentina will go on to reach the championship game against Germany in Brazil.
And Ahmed Musa said a win over them will lift the self-belief of the Super Eagles.
“Argentina played in the World Cup final in 2014 and all their players are world-class,” Musa said again.
“We need to be positive and confident when playing this type of game, victory will do our confidence as a team a lot of good and our ranking will improve.”
“I want to commend the NFF and coach Rohr for this very good friendly vs Argentina.
“It is a very good game for our team. “
