Mascherano linked with Liverpool return

Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano is being linked with a return to Liverpool.

Diario Gol says Barca star Leo Messi believes Mascherano will leave at the end of the season – with a return to Liverpool on.

Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.

The 33-year-old is under contract at Barcelona until 2019 but will be allowed to leave on a free transfer in the summer.

Mascherano told TyC Sports: “I’m always analysing my situation.

“I do not rule out anything, I do not want to be a prisoner of my words, I will seek my happiness.”
